Hills Community Carols
Hills Community Carols took place at Second Ponds Oval, Rouse Hill on the 12th December 2010. The event was packed with Christmas spirit on what turned out to be a magnificent summers day.
Crowds gathered and enjoyed the fun filled entertainment by many wonderful artists including, the talented students from Hills Adventist College, Hills Community Choir, Michelle Loomes & Tony Stark. Solo artists for the evening included Claire Korte, Jean-Pierre Martinez, Sophie Stojanovic, Leighton Brown and Leigh Archer.
MC's, Aaron Wright and Katrina Roe, from Hope 103.2FM kept the show running throughout the course of the evening and did a fabulous job at that.
The evening ended on a high with SANTA arriving to the oval on a motorbike, followed by Australia's R&B and pop artist PAULINI who brought the crowd to their feet with her renditions of 'Silent Night' and 'Amazing Grace', just to name a few. Finally all the artists from the evening joined on the Mobile Stage Truck to close the event with 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas'.
Hills Community Carols was sponsored by Hills Adventist College, Kellyville Seventh Day Adventist Church, Castle Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church, Mile End Community Church, Gaulston Adventist Church, Rouse Hill Families Connect, Sydney Blinds & Screens, Emillo Beauty, Hope 103.2FM and T-Dub Design. Nikki Duff and her team did a wonderful job at organising the impressive community event and a huge congratulations to everyone involved in the first Hills Community Carols event.
